I just sent him an email and it came back with an error message and I suddenly felt a pang in my stomach. My fear did come true. Sam Uncle decided he had a better place to go to. We came to Canada in 1988. He was the first Zoroastrian to help us settle here. Our first MacDonald meal was also hosted by him. We had to move from one friend's place in Brampton to another in Scarborough, and Sam Uncle offered to drive us there. On our way he said it is afternoon. Your friends might not have lunch to feed you and the kids, let's go to McDonalds. Very first trip. He found me my very first job in Philips. We worked together for almost 13 years in Philips. He was the Audit Manager and I worked as EA to the CFO. Sam Uncle does not need prayers. He made his place in heaven with goodness, kindness, compassion, love - every good humanity traits God intended mankind to have were embedded in him deep deep down in his heart and being. Sam Uncle, I always loved you and always will and will cherish your memories until one day we meet again! Amen!
