The Zoroastrian Society of Ontario’s Iranian Cultural Kanoun celebrates the ancient Mehregan festival on October 2, 2021.
This will be Kanoun’s first in-person event held at the MGDM since post-COVID. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the capacity limit for the indoor hall is limited to 40 people at a time. For this purpose, there will be two showings to help accommodate everyone in the community. There will also be an option to watch the entire event on ZSO’s YouTube channel (zso.org/live).
In-Person Showings (*arrive earliest, 15 min before the program starts)
Group 1: *5 pm to 6 pm
Group 2: *7 pm to 8 pm
All health protocols must be followed including:
- Completing the COVID-19 screening (zso.org/covid) on the day of your visit and presenting it to the volunteer and e-mailing your results to EVP@zso.org
- Showing your proof of vaccination for ages 12 and over (https://covid-19.ontario.ca/proof-covid-19-vaccination)
- Wearing a mask/face covering
- Maintain a social distance of two meters/six feet
- Bringing your own prayer book and head covering
